Tonight will be bitter sweet for me as I am very excited to see everyone this evening and experience the atmosphere but I am also sad that we have to close our doors for another month 😪 However, lets not think about the closing doors bit just yet...all tables are now booked from roughly 7pm...I may be able to accommodate a couple of people before this time but I can't guarantee anything. Just a very polite and gentle reminder to those that do visit us this evening, please remember to firstly check in when you arrive using the QR code posters, wear your masks when walking through the bar or to go to the loo, and wash your hands and sanitise regularly. We don't usually open on a Tuesday but as we have to close our doors for a month after tomorrow, we're giving you the chance to make the most of having a drink in a lovely atmosphere 😁 pop down and say hi, and a temporary goodbye and don't forget all draught beers and selected gins are down to just £2!! As you will all be aware, we have to close our doors on Wednesday for a month, but it isn't all doom and gloom... Starting tonight, all draught beers are down to just £2 a pint!!! Selected gins are also half price! This offer is not to be missed!! And, if you just happen to be in the bar at the right time, you may get to sample one of our new cocktails as I am in the process of making sure our new menu is ready for the big launch when we re-open! We are also open every evening now through to Wednesday night so you can come down and join us for a drink on Tuesday too! We open from 5pm. We may be closing our doors for a month from Wednesday evening but that's not going to hold us back from launching our winter cocktail menu... Our winter menu will feature this beauty, The After Eight! This ultimate festive cocktail comes complete with a whole after eight mint for you to enjoy with it too! Our new and improved cocktail menu will launch in December so keep your eyes peeled for details. Happy Sunday folks!

How amazing was last night??? A huge and massive heartfelt thank you to all those that attended and made the night what it was...the atmosphere was fantastic, despite the dreaded news that came at 6.45pm last night! Well done to our quiz winners - Hill's Angels! Every team that took part did brilliant so well done to you all! Congratulations to our best dressed competition winners, Bonnie and Clyde! A well deserved win! And a huge thank you to everyone else who made an effort to dress up too, you all looked fab. Thanks to Clare Forrest for being our brilliant judge for the competition. We also had a charity raffle to raise funds for the RABI and support local farmers and we raised over £100 which is superb! Again, I just want to thank everyone for making the night such a huge success...we couldn't have a party due to current restrictions but nobody let that bother them and despite it all, we had a blast. It's that time of the week again when we all start preparing for the week ahead, but you know, the weekend isn't over just yet... We are open until 10pm this evening and ready to help you relax with a nice refreshing drink in your hand. Unwind in a cosy and friendly atmosphere and prolong your weekend that little bit more!

Okay, so I think I made you all wait long enough....so I can now reveal plans for the Bibo Halloween Spooktakular event coming on Saturday 31st October! All perfectly social distanced of course! Allow us to bring you a night of frights and delights as we bring you a spooky quiz, testing your knowledge on all things Halloween and horror related through the ages. Quiz starts at 7pm sharp. If fancy dress is your cup of tea then please feel free to show us your scariest and craziest outfits as there will be a prize for the best costume and all those who make the effort to come in fancy dress, will receive a free glass of "Monster Punch". We will also be drawing a charity prize raffle on the night, raising money for RABI - Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, supporting local farmers. Prizes include an Afternoon Tea Hamper, Bottle of prosecco and a Custom Made Light Up Bottle. Tickets are available from behind the bar between now and the 31st 20p a ticket, £1 a strip. The event itself is free of charge although there will be a cost of £5 per team who enter the quiz. I have spaces available for 7 teams and all spaces will be booked on a first come first served basis.
